Movie Review: Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol

Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol

Basic Premise
Ethan Hunt's mission, should he choose to accept it, is to clear the name of himself, his team, and his organization who have all been framed for an attack on Russia.

Review
I went to see this movie because it was part of the Mission Impossible franchise, which I didn't even think there would be another one after that whole fiasco with Tom Cruise and Paramount. But since Cruise fronted the money, I guess Paramount decided another movie was in order.

It didn't disappoint. Action, intrigue, and impossible scenarios getting in and out of buildings/situations made this movie a fun time. The science is just as impossible (living up to its name) as usual, but that's what makes the movie fun.

It's safe to say, if you liked the other movies, you'll enjoy this one as well.

Previews
- G.I. Joe: Retaliation - This just goes to show that the new cartoon is doing well since the movie basically adopted the premise. And look, they tossed in the Ninja Wars scenario just to spice things up. We get to see Jinx. That alone makes this movie worth it. Though I knew I was going as soon as they announced the sequel.

- Battleship - I've already said that I'm going to see this.

- Titanic (Theater Re-release) - I saw this movie umpteen times when it first came out, and I own the DVD. That's enough for me.

- Prometheus - I finally saw a trailer for this (too lazy to look at it online) and I must say this looks interesting. I might have to go see this.

- Batman: Dark Knight Rises - BANE!! And this time it looks like they did him right. Thank God. That should make up for them casting Anne Hathaway as Catwoman. I love the lady. She's a fun actress, but it's going to take some serious acting on her part for me to see her as Catwoman.
